Canyon to Canopy Expedition

Dive into the iconic Monterey submarine canyon in search of deep-water pelagic species that congregate in this specific area. Sightings can include mola molas, huge lingcod/cabezons, comb jellies and more! We’ll also explore one of the most lush kelp forests and overhead canopies in the area, where sunlight penetrates the fronds for that classic Monterey kelp cathedral effect. This experience consists of 2 dives and concludes with a beach cook out where we’ll peruse ID books and debrief over food/drinks.

Includes private guide, 2 shore dives lunch and equipment.
We’ll meet at our local partner dive shop to gear up and from there head to the dive site. After our dives we’ll have lunch at the beach.
Open water to professional level SCUBA divers are encouraged to join. Dive profile is based on experience level and ocean conditions.

Sea Lion Colony Expedition

We are so fortunate to have a handful of sea lion colonies that reside kicking distance from our shores. This experience gives divers the opportunity to see big marine mammals up close and personal. Often, there will be upwards of a dozen playful pinnipeds dive-bombing and swooping past you underwater. This is both an exhilarating and hilarious experience that everyone loves, whether its your 1st or 100th time! This is the perfect dive for photographers and those new to cold water alike. This experience includes 1 guided dive and equipment.

We’ll meet at our local partner dive shop and then head to he dive site for the sea lion dive.
We encourage both certified SCUBA divers AND freedivers to join.
